Creating a hair look from the Shrimps show at LFW with TONI&GUY

After attending London Fashion Week recently, I didn’t realise how much work went into the hair and makeup behind the scenes. The hairstyles are almost as mesmerising as the outfits! Taking some inspo from the Shrimps show, I’ve recreated a look with my own twist on it using TONI&GUY products. It’s just three easy steps…

Step 1.

I started off with spraying a little water on my hair to make it slightly damp, I then used about a tennis ball amount of the TONI&GUY Volume Plumping Mousse and ran it through my hair, brushing through at the end ready to tie back. The mousse doesn’t feel sticky or clump together and gives my hair a bit more body which make it easy to style.

Step 2.

Next I use the TONI&GUY Matt Texture Dry Shampoo (life saver) to add a bit of texture to my hair, tie back and then add a litte more to the roots! It gives my hair more volume too and works wonders when you have no time to wash your hair but need a little refresh.

I usually go for a low bun for my everyday hairstyle look, it’s so simple and such a go-to style. So this is how I’ve put my own twist on the style.

Step 3.

I then pull a few strands from the bun and curl them using the TONI&GUY Tousled Texture Creative Hairspray to secure the curls and set the style. I sprayed it onto the curls then crunched them in my hand to give them a better hold, it doesn’t feel sticky and is super lightweight too which is perfect when you don’t want to feel like you have a lot of product in your hair.

The Shrimps SS18 collection incorporated so many great pieces, my favourite probably a pink dress with frills and a collar! So I paired this hairstyle with a bright pink/purple mesh style top with extravagant sleeves to complete the look. #HAIRFIRSTFASHION
